Wheat
Wheat
As Norfolk & Suffolk’s premier independent grain merchant and supplier of OTC (over-the-counter) options, Dewing Grain offers both buyers and sellers of Wheat a variety of transparent marketing tools to both manage risk as well as achieve the optimum potential for the crop.

Through regular interaction we have built a strong relationship with wheat buyers, feed compounders and millers across the region so that where possible we are able to seek premiums for hard and soft varieties; although of equal importance is our access to international markets through the export facility at Lowestoft. As keepers of registered futures stores across the county we are able to add yet another dimension.

Barley
Barley
We have become a major supplier of specialist Malting Barley to the key premium markets in the malting and distilling trade.

Situated in the best malting barley region in the world, we offer advice and pricing based on individual needs and specification, taking into account variety and consumer requirements.

OSR
OSR
We have built strong relationships with all the main users of Oilseed Rape. Being the highly volatile commodity that it is, we provide, and offer advice on, various methods of hedging to both manage risk and optimise potential and return.

Understanding that many farms are under pressure to store OSR we have taken on specific stores across the region to be able to offer flexibility and to increase the marketing period.

Pulses
Pulses
Our pulse growers benefit from premiums for human consumption on most of the samples that we receive and all of our deliveries are local to be processed for the export market.

Organics
Organics
Dewing Grain sources domestic and imported organic commodities for the feed and food industry. Thanks to long standing links with organic producers in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world we have a good supply base of specialist protein crops, feed, milling and malting grains. These are stored in strategic locations across the UK allowing delivery to be made quickly and efficiently. Through the Yaregrain facility organic crops can be processed, cleaned and stored eliminating the risk of rejections. With a variety of supply contracts available we can ensure that producers receive a fair value for the crops they produce.

Rye
Rye
Rye is gaining market share in the UK food industry owing to its unique flavour characteristics. From baking to brewing rye provides millers and maltsters with an additional ingredient to wheat and barley. Rye performs well on poor soils although requires careful management in both land preparation and harvesting. Dewing Grain has buy back contracts available for specific varieties of Rye providing the grower with a guaranteed market.
