96 – Murray Ferguson – Part 2

In Farmchat we pick up where we left off last week with Murray Ferguson

In the market report for week commencing 27th July 2020 and with harvest in full swing, we hear from Andrew about nitrogen levels in malting barley, crop movement and the impact of Covid 19.

Murray takes the long view on government support for farming - how it has changed over the decades and what might happen in the years to come. He and Andrew discuss soil health and neonics and we look back to a time of camaraderie in farming.
