To achieve the optimum quality of produce it is important for farmers to cut crops when ready but also when the market requires their yield.
Unfortunately, harvest time doesn’t always coincide with the best weather conditions or when consumers require the produce. Grain may be cut at a time when it needs to be dried and stored until it can be delivered to the buyers.
Farmers don’t always have the facilities to move and store their produce. Dewing Grain provides the best service available to the local farming community and to the expected guaranteed quality that end users demand. We use our different locations locally to accommodate grain excess.
Farmers don’t have to rely on consumer need to harvest, move and store their produce as we can provide our superior facilities for their benefit.
All our storage facilities are TASCC registered to ensure we meet feed and food safety requirements you require.
Aylsham Store
Andrew Dewing is the managing director for this farmers’ co-operative store at Aylsham and we can accommodate 20,000 tonnes of grain at any one time. Once delivered to store, the crops are managed by the Dewing team, from testing the specification of inbound and outbound commodities to providing bespoke products and blends.
We have a new storage agreement in place with Albanwise Farming Ltd, at Saxlingham near Holt.
Dewing Grain Storage Ltd currently owns this 5,000 tonne site based at Cantley.
A new company has been set-up to acquire and run a 30,000 tonne storage and grain processing facility. The store will be financed by farmers who invest in the new company in return for the facilities of storage and grain processing and by outside investors seeking straight investment and potential tax benefits.

Sarah Redgrave sarah@dewinggrain.co.uk or call 01263 731550Dewing Grain and Duffields enjoy a close working relationship. Each year we agree storage space in a number of their silos at Saxlingham. We utilise the storage at harvest time for farmers and Duffields provide excellent facilities at this site.
We have recently arranged additional storage capacity with Honingham Thorpe Farm. The 10,000 tonne store along with weighbridge and intake sampling system has a state-of-the-art aeration linked to a humidity control, giving store temperature via a modem to the trading office and direct to the farm managers. The site is adjacent to the Anglia Farmers' office at the Honingham Thorpe complex and will be buying wheat from 15th August 2010.
Salle
This storage facility has partnered with Andrew for over 10 years and is a registered TASCC store under Dewing Grain’s registration. Salle provide the only storage for oilseed rape.
